And she finally posted!

I have been feeling intimidated by Post #1 because it seems an unwritten requirement that the first post of a blog be deep and inspiring as a pattern for future posts. I am sitting here on a Saturday night after work, eating ice cream and painting my nails. In high school, these types of nights were officially called “Amy Nights” and were a requirement for my personal sanity. I decided that nothing would be more appropriate for this Amy Night than finally posting on my new blog. This blog is dedicated as a forum of thoughts and discoveries I have made about my religion, major, social group and myself. I’m sure that a lot of what I put here will be interesting to only a small few, but I am excited to have a place to put down my thoughts. So, in an effort to be inspiring, I will end this Post #1 with a word: WELCOME!
